Why a CSA?
Fresh, Local, and Seasonal plants and produce, often harvested and procured just days before they are available for pickup.
Directly sustaining small-scale, sustainable farming practices, helping to support your local farms and food systems.
CSA members have the opportunity to build a relationship with the farmers who grow their food and learn about the growing practices that make community agriculture possible.
A variety of produce is part of the fun of receiving new items each week.
Community Supported Agriculture
A Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is a partnership between local farmers and community members that allows individuals to support sustainable farming practices while enjoying fresh, seasonal produce. Members of a CSA buy a "share" of the farm's harvest upfront (usually at the beginning of the growing season), which helps provide the farm with the capital needed to purchase seeds, equipment, and other essentials.
